WRITER, PRODUCER, ACTRESS: LOU MULFORD

Lou moved to Los Angeles from Virginia in 1978 to pursue her acting career. She has worked professionally in the business from age eighteen playing principal roles in 100’s of commercials and infomercials and has appeared in numerous television and film roles spanning decades.

Lou was seen daily on the hit 1980’s NBC game show SALE OF THE CENTURY as a model and sometimes co-host. She worked with Mel Brooks in his infamous comedy THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD PART II. Lou played George Clooney’s girlfriend Shelly in the original “ER” sitcom with Elliot Gould and Jason Alexander. She has appeared onstage many times on both coasts; notably as Cheryl in HOOTERS, Rosalind in AS YOU LIKE IT, and as Sally Melford, a part written for her, in award winning playwright Bobbie Hite’s IN THE SECOND PLACE.

After an over 18 year hiatus to raise her daughters Lou “re-invented” herself with more recent television roles including the part of a young Betty Draper’s mother on MAD MEN. Lou has guest starred and co-starred on COUGAR TOWN, LEVERAGE, LIFE, ER, SHARK, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, GENERAL HOSPITAL and many other successful television shows. In 2012 she wrote, starred in and produced her short film INVASION OF THE MONEY SNATCHERS. Also in 2012 and 2013 Lou toured with grammy nominated singer Sophie B. Hawkins AS JANIS’S MOTHER in Gigi Gaston’s original hit musical ROOM 105 THE HIGHS AND LOWS OF JANIS JOPLIN. Lou has always loved writing and telling stories in every creative form. She is currently in pre-production on her faith based screenplay PERCEPTIONS. She has two beautiful grown daughters, with two equally wonderful son in laws. Lou lives in Los Angeles with her husband, plus their loony rescue mutts Frankie & Jonnie.

Patrick Murphy graduated from San Diego State, majoring in Telecommunications and Film. Years later he moved to L.A., where he worked for Stephen J. Cannell Productions in charge of stages for several years during the “A-Team”, “Hunter” era. During that time he scurried about studying acting with an emphasis on directing at the Tracy Roberts Acting Studio and story structure with the John Truby Writer’s Studio. He also bought an early tube camera and armed with a ¾ inch deck, set about making a slew of shorts based on scene studies and his own writings. He has also written several full-length screenplays and wrote, directed and produced the short film THOSE ABOUT TO DIE accepted and featured in the 2006-2007 film festival circuit. Patrick directed and produced INVASION OF THE MONEY $NATCHER$ also employing his brilliant team and equipment via his current partnership at Crosslight Camera, Grip and Lighting in Los Angeles.

Jeff grew up on a farm near Calgary, Alberta, Canada, receiving a BA degree from University of Calgary followed be a Juris Doctor degree from the Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. Once in Los Angeles began pursing an acting career studying in both Los Angeles and New York. Jeff won the Best Actor Award for comedy at the Bernstein Awards in Los Angeles.

Jeff’s film work includes roles in “The Postman” starring and directed by Kevin Costner, a co-starring role in “The Long Ride Home” a western with Ernest Borgnine and Eric Roberts, “Shelter” a mob epic with John Alan Nelson and Charles Durning, “Dance With The Devil” a psychological thriller with Jesse Vint and Corby Timbrook, and “The Ranch” a comedy with Andrew and Stella Stevens.

Jeff’s television credits include appearances in the daytime dramas; “Passions” and “Port Charles”, a starring role in the Lifetime movie, “I Dream of Murder”. Jeff played a cop on a “Colombo” MOW with Peter Falk, a prosecutor on the series “North of Sixty”, a doctor in “I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant” and the lead role in the pilot “Inflictivision”.

Jeff has been active in the theater in with roles in many plays including “You Can’t Take It With You”, “The Curious Savage”, “Benchmarks”, “Are You Now Or Have You Ever Been”, “The Andersonville Trial” and “The Graves of San Andreas”. In Children’s theater Jeff has performed in “Wind and the Willows”, “Puss ‘n Boots”in Los Angeles, and “Firebird” at the Pumphouse Theater in Calgary. Additionally, Jeff was a member of two successful comedy improv groups in Los Angeles; a touring group, “Shepards Flock” directed by Tony Shepard, and “Paul Ryan’s Improv” at the Laugh Factory on the Sunset Strip.

Released in 2012 Jeff plays a late night talk show host in the feature film; “Hedonistic” a satirical look at the corporate world. Jeff is hosting a show for Eworld Media called “Xperience TV” a humorous look at the internet and the entertainment world and hosted a continuing musical showcase at the world famous S.I.R. Studios in Hollywood. Additionally, Jeff has hosted “The Search For The Most Beautiful Latina and Vampirene in the World” in Hollywood and in Las Vegas at the Palms Resort and Casino and the “Eworld Music Awards” at Paramount Studios. Currently, Jeff has just finished working on three film projects: “Crossroads”, “Denial” and “Invasion of the Money $natcher$” on which Jeff was also a producer.

John Rhode is a Cinematographer based out of Los Angeles known for his fast, artistic approach to filmmaking and the latest use of technology. He has won many Tellies and Cine-Eagle Awards for his cinematography as well as been positively reviewed in Variety, “…beautifully photography by John Rhode” and in articles published by the International Cinematographers Guild magazine.

He has worked on Features, Television shows, Webisodes, Documentaries, and Commercials. Working in the Camera Dept. he has worked with some of the greatest Cinematographers and Directors in contemporary cinema.  Awards: Many Tellies and Cine-Eagle awards which recognize the work of outstanding filmmakers, videographers, producers, and directors and other craftspeople in the film, television, and new media industry. Mo Murphy is a Los Angeles based Editor, whose projects have included award winning films, documentaries, political campaigns and shorts.

A graduate of the UCLA Motion Picture/TV Department, Murphy worked with HBO for ten years on in-house projects. She was also a principal editor on the Emmy Nominated “Farrah’s Story.”

Murphy is also co-owner of the parody award brand, “The Razzies.”
