Invasion of the Money $natcher$ is a comedic satirical commentary on the greed and scams that invade our personal lives. “Airplane” meets” the “Twilight Zone” in this spoof on the international plague of avarice in our world today. Attendees will vote on the night for their favorite film from the line-ups. The short with the most votes gets an automatic bid into the 10th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival & Film Conference, which will take place in August 2014 at the TCL Chinese Theatre and Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. On April 9th, 2013 We screened our short film INVASION OF THE MONEY $NATCHER$ with DENIAL, a film directed by James Sharpe and written by Katie Swain, to over 300 wonderful friends and family guests at the SAG Foundation Actor’s Center in L.A.
Veronica Cartwright, star of the 1978 version of the classic flick, INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS that we used along with the 1956 original for our parody-satire, was our honored guest that evening.
